Upload Font to Divi – FIX “This Filetype is not permitted…” in just 2 minutes!

So you found your great font you want to use in your Divi website? But then you try to edit a text block, add your font and then BOOM. This happens… Man, I feel your frustration and your pain. I’ve been there and I’ve done exactly that. But here’s the good news! I know how to fix it, in a very easy way. We’re going to add a free plugin -which we will be removing afterwards-, we’re going to add a single line of code -which we will be removing afterwards-. And if you follow this video, step by step, you’ll be up and running in just three minutes. Let’s go.
How to fix this? It’s very easy. We go to ‘Plugins’ – ‘Add new’. And you type here: “File Manager”. We’re going to install now File Manager. Press ‘Activate’. And go to WP File Manager. And we’ll need to go to the wp-config.php. Press this, click on it, and press this button, which means ‘Edit file’. Now, don’t change anything in this file because your website will definitely break if you do it. Just scroll down, and just press Enter twice. And paste here the line of code that you can find in the description of this video. And press ‘Safe’. Now go back to your Divi page, and press reload (F5) on this page. And once it is reloaded, we will add it again. And we do it exactly the same, we’ve press the upload button, and we’re gonna choose our font. And the name of the font is ‘Billion dreams’. Its a TTF file, then we press upload. And now you’ll see that our font has been changed. Isn’t this awesome? Now that we’ve uploaded our font, we go back to WP File Manager. Because we need to remove this code because it is a security risk. Just delete it, and press safe and close. Allright, now we go to ‘Plugins’ – ‘Installed Plugins’. We’re gonna delete the WP File Manager. Press ‘deactivate’ and press ‘Delete’ press ‘OK’. And you are good to go!
